You and your family should visit Massachusetts. You should read this guide to know what to bring, what to do, and some fascinating facts to learn.

First of all, before you go, you need to know what to bring. If you go in the winter, be prepared for a lot of snow storms, so definitely bring a lot of snow equipment. In the summer, you should bring shorts, T-shirts, and a bathing suit. There are a lot of harbors that are great fishing spots. You can catch shellfish, clams, lobsters, and scallops.

Secondly, you should know some things to do. In Boston you can try armor on at the Higgins museum or visit Faneuil Hall. Another thing you can do is sign up for a boot trip to watch whales.

Massachusetts is also the home state of technology and education. It is home to different universities, such as Harvard University. And Institute of technology, also called M.I.T. At M.I.T. you can actually walk through a two story computer.

In Massachusetts, there are so many cool facts to learn. For example, Bunker Hill is where one of the first American revolutions took place. George’s island was used as a jail in the Civil War. Another interesting fact is that volleyball and basketball were invented in Massachusetts. But before you go you need to know the state symbols. First you should know the state tree and flower. The state tree is the American elm, and the state flower is the May Flower. But I saved the best for last because the state dessert, also known as the Boston cream pie.
